Following my recent success of the smaller pallet wood bookcase, I have had many enquiries for a larger unit.
This superbly attractive, solid reclaimed Pine Wood Bookcase is designed with shelves for mostly smaller vintage or paperback books(up to 23cm) but also can take larger books laid flat. Select the large 30cm depth for file storage.
The units are generally 58cm wide and 16cm deep, but there are other sizes available in the options. The height options are: 5shelf 128cm, 4shelf 105cm; 3 shelf 83cm; 2 shelf 61cm. The wood is usually about 18mm thick and is jointed, glued and nailed for a very solid construction.
The timber has been sanded smooth to remove any splinters and the rough sawn texture of reclaimed pallet wood.
When you run your hand over the surface it feels smooth, but still has the character with nail holes, saw marks and grain texture.
The most popular colour is white or natural pine.
I have added some other painted colour options if you need to match decor. The paint finish is distressed and waxed smooth.

Custom and personalised orders
I am always receiving requests for customised work so I do welcome a challenge 😀 If you would like something made to your specs then just ask, i would love to see your idea.
Commonly people ask for shelves, bookcases or cabinets to be a little larger, in a special colour, unpainted or with different accessories.
Custom orders usually take a little longer to make and cost a little extra so please ask for a quote.
Sizing details
Sizes are quoted in metric, usually cm.
Where sizes are referred to as small, medium and large it would be the medium or regular size that is most popular or commonly purchased.
Sometimes we have to limit the size of larger items to 115cm in length due to the cost of delivery, especially when it is to be sent outside the UK. If you would like an item made larger than this we would have to confirm the delivery cost for you.
Allow a slight variation in sizes of recycled timber crafts due to the nature and availability of wood used.
The shipping price seems a little high, why is that?
Cost of delivery is calculated on the parcels volumetric weight, which is its measurements multiplied together divided by 5000. Large parcels will then have a much higher cost compared to smaller ones.
Also, the price includes the cost of the high quality recycled packaging that I use to avoid damaged items.
We can offer discounts for shipping when you buy more than one item as often the volume can be condensed by packing then together.
