Inspired by DJs across the world who use a sturdy box to carry their records to gigs.
I have had great success with my Atomic Record Cabinet and wanted to expand the range to include some more modest priced items that still have a solid construct and elegant functional design.
This literally ticks the boxes for vinyl lovers who want to keep their best loved albums to hand when relaxing with a coffee, or tea!
The unit is made from 18mm MDF, jointed glued and screwed for strength, then triple coated in eco emulsion before 2 coats of varnish are applied. The coats are sanded smooth between each for a smooth glossy finish.
5cm castors are drilled into the base so the whole unit can be moved easily.
The overall unit dimensions are:
44cm high (inc castors) x 33cm deep and is available in several width options.
These width options can take up to 70 albums in the smallest one, increasing respectively.
RECYCLED CONTENT- This cabinet uses recycled MDF where possible. MDF board contains recycled timber sawdust compressed with wax or resin.
Note:
TURNTABLE OPTION- I have added a size option especially for a turntable. This is sized at 46cm wide and 37cm deep.
COLOUR OPTION- The colours are named after famous bands, but The White Stripes is not stripey, its just white!

Custom and personalised orders
I am always receiving requests for customised work so I do welcome a challenge 😀 If you would like something made to your specs then just ask, i would love to see your idea.
Commonly people ask for shelves, bookcases or cabinets to be a little larger, in a special colour, unpainted or with different accessories.
Custom orders usually take a little longer to make and cost a little extra so please ask for a quote.
Sizing details
Sizes are quoted in metric, usually cm.
Where sizes are referred to as small, medium and large it would be the medium or regular size that is most popular or commonly purchased.
Sometimes we have to limit the size of larger items to 115cm in length due to the cost of delivery, especially when it is to be sent outside the UK. If you would like an item made larger than this we would have to confirm the delivery cost for you.
Allow a slight variation in sizes of recycled timber crafts due to the nature and availability of wood used.
The shipping price seems a little high, why is that?
Cost of delivery is calculated on the parcels volumetric weight, which is its measurements multiplied together divided by 5000. Large parcels will then have a much higher cost compared to smaller ones.
Also, the price includes the cost of the high quality recycled packaging that I use to avoid damaged items.
We can offer discounts for shipping when you buy more than one item as often the volume can be condensed by packing then together.

It arrived slightly damaged (courtesy of APC), but as the dent is at the back it is not too noticeable. It is well made, but it would have been nice if two of the castors were the locking type. It's very solid, so a turntable works well when mounted on top, (the heavier the better - see pic).
