My love of Vinyl records inspires me to indulge further into storage solutions for this indulgent hobby.
I have now designed another to add to my successful Atomic cabinet with new simple startling features.
This beautiful retro design is ideal for storing your precious collection and also adds style with its sharp lines, warm hardwood and simple block colour finish inside and out.
The cabinet is made from 18mm MDF board and features;

*Solid Wood tapered legs- original Dansette design made in UK
*UK made metal leg anchor plates- original Dansette design
*Solid Oak Hafele door handles
The MDF unit is jointed, screw and glued for strength. It is painted on the bottom, sides and doors with 4 coats of eco emulsion and polished satin finish. A stunning vibrant colour can be used to finish the inside(please state this in the order notes).
Solid Oak top and skirt which is protected with 5 coats of Danish oil, 2-3 hours drying between each, then polished to enhance its natural beauty. Stave width varies.
80mm retro oak Hafele handles are fitted to give it the authentic mid century feel.
Another quality feature is the solid Beachwood tapered legs, which have been made in the UK to the original Dansette design. These are also treated with danish oil, come packed separately inside and simply screw onto the ready mounted plates underneath.
There are 3 leg size options available: 20cm, 30cm, 40cm(standard). Please add your choice to the order notes at checkout.
The unit measures 41cm deep and 80cm high (44cm is the cabinet height only) and I have several options on the width.

RECYCLED CONTENT- This cabinet uses oak boards made from reclaimed offcuts (staves) and my offcuts of these are used for the bottom skirt. MDF board contains recycled timber sawdust compressed with wax or resin.
DELIVERY- prices are based on the 120cm cabinet weight of 45kg, so larger models delivered outside mainland UK may cost more than advertised due to the Volumetric weight (cubic dimensions). There maybe a discount code for smaller sizes but contact me first.
EU CHARGES AND DELAYS- New EU customs arrangements were effective since January 2021. Please check your own government website for custom import duties to be paid.

Custom and personalised orders
I am always receiving requests for customised work so I do welcome a challenge 😀 If you would like something made to your specs then just ask, i would love to see your idea.
Commonly people ask for shelves, bookcases or cabinets to be a little larger, in a special colour, unpainted or with different accessories.
Custom orders usually take a little longer to make and cost a little extra so please ask for a quote.
Sizing details
Sizes are quoted in metric, usually cm.
Where sizes are referred to as small, medium and large it would be the medium or regular size that is most popular or commonly purchased.
Sometimes we have to limit the size of larger items to 115cm in length due to the cost of delivery, especially when it is to be sent outside the UK. If you would like an item made larger than this we would have to confirm the delivery cost for you.
Allow a slight variation in sizes of recycled timber crafts due to the nature and availability of wood used.
The shipping price seems a little high, why is that?
Cost of delivery is calculated on the parcels volumetric weight, which is its measurements multiplied together divided by 5000. Large parcels will then have a much higher cost compared to smaller ones.
Also, the price includes the cost of the high quality recycled packaging that I use to avoid damaged items.
We can offer discounts for shipping when you buy more than one item as often the volume can be condensed by packing then together.

Beautiful cabinet, custom made to my exact specifications. Arrived quickly and in great shape, despite the transatlantic journey. Took some time to build, but definitely worth the wait.
