I have Lowell to thank for this one! He wanted a stunning metallic foil finish for his cabinet in the highly desired Rose Gold.
So, i created this new custom record cabinet especially for him.
The cabinet is made from 18mm MDF board and features;
*Solid 27mm Hardwood top and skirt
*Heavy Duty Hafele recessed soft-close cabinet hinges
*Solid Beech Wood tapered legs
*UK made metal leg anchor plates
*Solid metal silver chrome diamante square handles
The MDF unit is jointed, screwed and glued for strength. It is painted metallic rose gold on door edges, under the cabinet and its sides, but left natural inside. 6mm Eucalyptus/beech ply back.
Solid Oak 23mm top and skirt which is protected with 5 coats of natural Danish oil, 2 hours drying between each, then waxed to enhance its natural beauty. Stave width 40mm.
The doors have the stunning rose gold foil finish which features a dense self-coloured leaf floral design.
Soft close pistons are now fitted for a luxury feel when in use.
Another quality feature is the solid Beechwood tapered legs, which have been made in the UK. These are also treated with danish oil, come packed separately inside and simply screw onto the ready mounted plates underneath. 3 leg size options available: 20cm, 30cm, 40cm(standard)
The carcass unit measures 41cm deep and 43cm high (44cm is the cabinet height only) and 3 width variations are available. The total height is your leg length option +43cm. eg: 30cm legs +43cm = 73cm total height.

RECYCLED CONTENT- This cabinet uses oak boards made from reclaimed offcuts (staves) and my offcuts of these are used for the bottom skirt. MDF board contains recycled timber sawdust compressed with wax or resin.
DELIVERY- prices are reduced for these smaller units as the cabinet weight is under 30kg. delivery cost is based on its Volumetric weight.
EU CHARGES AND DELAYS- New EU customs arrangements were effective since January 2021. Please check your own government website for custom import duties to be paid and any custom issues.

Custom and personalised orders
I am always receiving requests for customised work so I do welcome a challenge 😀 If you would like something made to your specs then just ask, i would love to see your idea.
Commonly people ask for shelves, bookcases or cabinets to be a little larger, in a special colour, unpainted or with different accessories.
Custom orders usually take a little longer to make and cost a little extra so please ask for a quote.
Sizing details
Sizes are quoted in metric, usually cm.
Where sizes are referred to as small, medium and large it would be the medium or regular size that is most popular or commonly purchased.
Sometimes we have to limit the size of larger items to 115cm in length due to the cost of delivery, especially when it is to be sent outside the UK. If you would like an item made larger than this we would have to confirm the delivery cost for you.
Allow a slight variation in sizes of recycled timber crafts due to the nature and availability of wood used.
The shipping price seems a little high, why is that?
Cost of delivery is calculated on the parcels volumetric weight, which is its measurements multiplied together divided by 5000. Large parcels will then have a much higher cost compared to smaller ones.
Also, the price includes the cost of the high quality recycled packaging that I use to avoid damaged items.
We can offer discounts for shipping when you buy more than one item as often the volume can be condensed by packing then together.
